The Always #LikeAGirl campaign launched in June 2014 to take on the drop in confidence experienced by girls at puberty and the ways that stereotypes are limiting them. Girls send over a billion emoji a day, but playing princess or getting your nails done haven’t exactly been the empowered message they need. Earlier this year Always focused their campaign on combatting these stereotypes in emoji. Meet Lucy Walker, Emmy-winning film director and producer of the viral #LikeAGirl emoji video campaign that helped lead to the new set of female emoji.
